When I first read Le Petit Prince years ago I thought it was a wonderful story. A story about love and friendship. Back then, I don´t know if I really want to see it on film, I am afraid that could lose its magic! But I´ve seen the trailer, and the movie looks like it will be very nice.
I love my books and I love my readings, I think the book are richer in such details that in a movie we cannot find them, I don´t know. I´ve already read books and saw the films, for instance: A walk to remember, The Last Song, Dear John, The Notebook based on the novels from Nicholas Sparks, The Twilight Saga from Stephanie Meyer, Lord of the Rings from J.R.R.Tolkien, Fairy Tales… I don´t know. Today almost the books have a movie inspiration.
I´m really fascinated with the facility of the producers to create, so faithfully the world through the book story. But, despite of that “perfection” I still prefer my readings.

The book Le Petit Prince (O Principezinho) has been my faithful and trusted friend since I was a child. It's amazing how differently I looked at the book as an innocent 11 years old to the adult who I am now. The simple truths in this book are amazing, I could quote them for days and days. They are very philosophical and even though they are often over-quoted, it doesn't make them less true.
Ido not have much interest in going to see the movie in the cinema. Most of the time, the movies are not faithful to the books, or else are completely different than what we envision as we read the book.

I haven’t seen the film Le Petit Prince, but I have already read the book more than once. It is undoubtedly a book I recommend to anyone, no matter how old they are. It is a timeless story and it portrays the feeling of friendship in an extraordinary way, as well as the feeling we have when we miss someone or how important we can be to others. I believe that when we read books such as this one, we end up reflecting on what’s really essential in life and we somehow become better people. The phrase ‘What is essential is invisible to the eye’ clearly shows what I have just mentioned.

Le Petit Prince it is enchanting and touching story for children but recommended for everyone, that teaches a lesson about the importance of innocence and the nature of real love. Through a combination of exploring the world and exploring feelings, the Little Prince shows that what one gives to another is even more important, and reveals us the secret of what is really significant in life. This poetic tale makes several observations about life and human nature.
I have already read the book, even though I haven’t seen the movie but I have some curiosity to watch it on film because it seams enjoyable, although some of the movies are not entirely like the books. However the delightful that we feel through reading a book it’s inexplicably different and we can’t feel it through watching a film…
This book that appears to be a fairy tale for children opens like into a fantasy that has lessons for all of us.

Hi there!
Yes, of course I will not deny that I am curious about watching this film. However, I also believe that the impact that this film will have on me, will be different than when I read the book. It’s because of the different age ( I was much younger when I read the book for the first time) and also because I think that books awakens different feelings/emotions than a film. Actually, I think that watching the film is very different than reading the book…

I love the theme of the book, the story is, among other things, about friendship, love and loneliness, in the form of a young alien prince that lived on an asteroid and decided do go and discover other planets, one of them being planet Earth.

I think this story has a profound and timeless message, not only for young people, but for adults as well, because it reminds us that we shouldn’t take things for granted and we should value the moments that we have with the people that we love most; we should also be able to see in each other what is really special, we should see beyond what meets the eyes. Furthermore, I truly believe that we are responsible for the things that we attract in our lives.
I think that it will be important to see this film because it is a good memory from when I was growing up and I would like to pass that same experience to my son. I don’t know what I am going to feel, but I hope that, if I have the opportunity to go and see the film with my son, it will be a special moment between us, as the story has a deep message in it. I still today, have a copy of the book somewhere in my mother’s house, like just about everyone my age.

This is an excellent book, because anyone, regardless their age or culture, can read it and enjoy it because it is translated into several languages.
Reading this story, many years ago, it made me transfer to the world of imagination, through which I imagined every moment and I learned every lesson. This story reveals a very simple and wise secret that it isn't always easy to understand: the most important things are, often, invisible to our eyes. Only with the heart can we see them.
I didn't see the movie, but like Elisa Barbosa, I saw the thriller. This seemed a little different than I had imagined. Naturally, the films feature some adaptations. As such, I would like to read the book again before watching the movie. This is because we change and our experiences are differents, so I certainly believe I'll find new meanings and a new vision about the content of the story.
I usually don't see the movies of the books that I read, because I always create an image in my head of what I read. I reproduce the people, the landscapes and other details.I make my own movie. So I prefer to stay with the image that I reproduce, keeping me faithful to my readings. Perhaps, I fear disappoint me with the videos ... I'm not sure ...

Personally “Le Petit Prince” is not a film that arouses curiosity to see, because I like the book so much, that I fear that seeing the movie will cut some of that magic that only books can convey. I read , reread and went back to reading . I love the book, the simplicity which shows us some lessons and the innocence of a child before what is new . It is a story for all ages and for any time of day.
The first movie I saw was based on the book "coma " with Michael Douglas, but I´ve seen more :
“Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”
“Message in a bottle”
“The faul in our stars”
“Da Vinci Code”
Angels and Demons , among many others. In any way seeing the film does not replace reading. While I read, I dream, interact , cry , laugh and feel every character , imagine the sights and transport me to places I know . In the film we see, we laugh , we cry , we saty upset but the landscapes are there ... . The characters have that guy and not the one I imagined.
I always advise a good book ... . It doesn´t matter if it takes one week ... a month ... nothing can make us dream like a good book !

I don't intent to watch the movie "Le petit prince" because I want to keep the idea I have of the book. The book reaches the depth of your inner child, on never give up your dreams , on solidarity, friendship, despite the difficulties and responsibilities of adulthood. The movie always changes something, taking a bit of the magic and fantasy of the books. It is to keep the child in each of us, beauty, ethics and charm.
I've read the book, a few years ago, perhaps it's time to read it again.
Every film I have ever seen and also read the books I always liked the books better. The books describe the story with detail whitch leads us to imagine as if we were in the action. The film adaptations often don't worry about being faithful to the original book.
Some of the books I've read and seen the movie "Schindler's List", the saga of "Harry Porter", "The Diary of our passion," "A sign from heaven," "The Lord of the Rings" "Blood Moon," " Priest Amaro's crime" "Fifty shades of Grey" and "Chocolate".

Hello everyone.
I've seen the film and I thought that the film is suitable for all ages, from 6 to 90 .
Last 16 th December , I took my Class to saw the movie, " Le Petit Prince " . At the end, I found that many students were crying with their teachers . When we went back to school , I began to explore the history and opinion was unanimous , which was very important to have friends and we must do everything to help friends , especially when they are sick . Also revealed that it was important to dream and use our imagination .

I haven’t seen the movie but I read the book "Le Petit Prince" a few years ago.
This is a timeless story and suitable for all ages. One of the sentences that I will never forget is "What is essential is invisible to the eye," which values the inside and not the outside of a person.
I usually never see the movies of the books I read, because when I read I create, I imagine scenarios, situations and characters. However, I read the book of Harry Porter and then I was "forced" by a cousin to see the movie and honestly I didn’t like it because nothing happened as I imagined.
I'd rather read a good book than watch a movie, because our brain has the ability to capture perfectly what the author wrote while actors often can’t pass the essence of the character in a movie.
